The material is a special formula fiberglass. This formula governs refraction, reflection, brilliance of light and diffusion. It controls the strength and longevity.

The building is designed to maintain 70% of the light of a bright sunny day, the ideal growing light. the light is totally diffused. Diffused light graces the surface of every leaf of the plant giving way above normal growth.

The roof is white. In the middle of summer the sun is overhead and the heat and light are reflected out and the inside of the greenhouse is in the shade. In the wintertime, the sun is on the horizon and the sun comes in the sides and ends, The white roof reflects the heat downward into the building, Most heat loss is through the roof or ceiling of a building and this greatly reduces the heat loss. The light is totally diffused as it comes through the walls and ends. Diffused light is highly reflective. The walls of the greenhouse on the inside are rough textured and highly reflective, making a "Light Trap." The light build up until it reaches 70% of a bright day. At that point, the outside of the greenhouse becomes a mirror and no more light comes in. It starts doing this before the sun comes over the horizon in the morning and continues doing this after the sun is over the horizon in the evening. The days are 2 to 3 hours longer inside of the greenhouse, giving you a full length day inside all through winter.

The doors are oversized at 38" wide. They are Dutch Doors, meaning that they split in the middle. You can open the top half or the whole door. (There are doors on both ends)

The sides and ends only let in 70% of the light on bright days. The roof reflects both heat and light out and 2 automatic "heat activated" roof vents certainly help to give you the greenhouse that is the easiest to control temperature. In addition, it is just as easy to keep itself warm in adverse weather. It has also been designed to keep cool in hot weather.

In structural strength, it will take any weather conditions your house will, It is that solid. There is a built in foundation lip that is trenched into the ground and it will hold in any weather you house can withstand.
